My name is Tonya Jenkins. I started doing simple crafts six years ago such as diaper cakes, fruit trays, cheese and crackers, making letter boxes, towel cakes, and variety of baskets for seasonal purposes. I always decorated family parties with simple plastic tablecloths, but eventually things changed. I was asked to do a baby shower at a restaurant, then it went like wildfire and I was asked to decorate for other events. I saw that I was very intrigued on making people’s day special and beautiful.
I had a conversation with my husband thinking about what I should call my small business. He ask me how does it make you feel after you do something for your clients? I said Happy. Then he said you do a lot of crafting so call it Happy Crafts. I said that sounds like a great idea! But I will switch it up instead of having a “Y” it will be “I”, and instead of “C” it would be a “K.” So that’s how I got HappiKrafts!
